First I am going to talk about billionaires life for all those who have a billionaires life.

Not a life with more than 1 billion dollars net worth. By this I mean that 500 million dollars net worth people have a life like billionaires.

When you have a billionaires life, your holydays are on super yachts. It cost more than 100 000 dollars a day to rent a super yacht. Your wife doesn't want to sleep on it so you have to find a palace (more than 1000 dollars per night). It pissed you off the first time because you felt you were wasting half of the yacht renting price but now you are ok with it.

By more than 500 million dollars net worth, I also include people out of the U.S. For exemple Alain Afflelou whose net worth is 480 millions euros
He said when going to the billionaires island (only accessible by yacht and highly secured and expensive to enter) he felt like the poorest man of the place. And that is the first thing to understand: billionaires are comparing each other. Even if he was leaving like other billionaires, he received some remarks making him feel he has less money than the others. So in a billionaires life, you experience comparison. Like we are comparing our wages they are comparing other things:

Billionaires who rent a  yacht are at the beginning of the ladder. When your net worth approach 1 billion you usually authorize yourself to buy your own super yacht (130 million dollars) even if it is a wasted investment as you spend less than 20 days per year on it.

Then there are different kind of yacht (I am talking about yacht because billionaires can afford any car or house. Reading this you are beginning to feel the life of billionaires. Because you always focus on what you don't have and they also do). There are different size of yacht and it can obsess you. That's why some of them are spending hundreds of millions to build a new super yacht longer than the others.

There are also wooden maid yacht which seems like galleons more or less. Each year there is an event in Monaco to gather between "wooden maid yacht owners". It is clearly a place to be and there is a strong difference between those who have one and those who don't.

I will conclude here because I could continue for hours. Billionaires life is not quite far from your life if you are already an entrepreneur (working 100 hours per week, waking up at night for business, difficulties to keep a wife because you don't have time for her, managing a lot of people). The only difference is the time between working slots (restaurants, transportation, travel and holydays). All these material proofs of wealth are usually what you measure to know if somebody is wealthy or not.
Any degree of wealth has its measure. At the beginning you compare your wages. When you earn more you compare your car and house. Then you compare your private jet (40 million dollars).
